Devil Bhudakahn Memorial Show

The Devil Bhudakahn Memorial Show was a professional wrestling memorial event produced by the Turnbuckle Entertainment (TE) promotion that took place on March 8, 2008 at the Carnegie Library Athletic Club in Munhall, Pennsylvania. It was held in honor of independent wrestler Devil Bhudakahn who committed suicide at his home in Pittsburgh on July 15, 2007. Ten professional wrestling matches, three for championships, were featured on the card.
The main event was a tag team match in which Shirley Doe and Super Hentai were given the option of picking their partners. Doe, who had once been part of The Hellfire Club with Bhudakahn, chose NWA East star Mantis as his tag team partner, with Katarina Heiss, while Super Hentai chose Dirk Ciglar who were accompanied by Jazmynn.〔 After their victory, IWC Tag Team Champions The Gambino Brothers (Marshall and Mickey Gambino) ran into the ring to attack The Hellfire Club causing the entire locker room to empty out and turning the after-match celebration into a giant brawl between the Championship Wrestling Federation, International Wrestling Cartel, and NWA East.〔〔
In the two semi-main events Crusher Hansen and Dennis Gregory fought to a no-contest and, in a match for the Zero-One United States Heavyweight Championship, Sterling James Keenan defeated Mr. Wrestling III to win the title. There were two other title matches during the show; CWF Heavyweight Champion Beast beat Powerhouse Hughes and NWA East Three Rivers Champion Chris LeRusso defeated Scottie Gash and Bobby Shields in a Three-Way Dance. The opening match between Jason Gory and Troy Lords〔〔 ended in a disqualification, when Eric Xtasy, Justin Idol, and JT Rodgers interfered on Lords' behalf, setting up an eight-man tag team match pitting The Devil's Advocates (Glenn Spectre and Jake Garrett), Bobby Digital, and Jason Gory against Sexual Harassment (Eric Xtasy, JT Rodgers, Justin Idol & Troy Lords), which the former team won.〔〔 Female wrestler Morgan Rockafeller, who competed in the tag match, called the event "the highlight of her career".
The proceeds of the event went to the family of Devil Bhudakahn, who left a mother and three young daughters, in addition to several raffles and auctions of unique wrestling memorabelia held throughout the show〔〔 which included an officially licensed WWE autographed promotional pack, an autographed poster of Steve Corino, an official WWE Hall of Fame Program with Hall of Fame Coin, an official souvenir program of WWE SmackDown and Raw, and personally autographed mint action figures of Bret Hart, Terry Funk, The Big Show, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles, Alex Shelley, The 1-2-3 Kid, Al Snow, The Sandman, Shane Douglas, Brutus Beefcake, Daivari, Senshi and Eric Young.〔"Devil Bhudakahn Show Update." ''Declarationofindependents.net''. Ed.
